Vocational Center - Lajpat Rai College

ABOUT US-

Lajpat Rai Vocational Centre, Sahibabad was established in the year 1980 to meet the demand of Vocational Courses. In the year 1980, seven vocational courses as Electrical Technician, Refrigeration & A.C Technician, Radio & T.V Technician, Photography, Stenography, Printing and Cutting & Tailoring were started. These vocational courses were recognize by National Council of Vocational Training NCVT (Govt. of India).

Presently Lajpat Rai Vocational Centre, Sahibabad is imparting education in various Diploma courses recognized by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) (Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India) and National Institute of Open Schooling NIOS (Education Ministry, Govt. of India) etc.

The diploma courses are designed such that they suit to the requirement of the industry and allied fields so that the students after completing the diploma courses will have the various job opportunities in the industry. The facilities for practical training as well as computer training are available in the vocational centre to meet the requirement of the various diploma course.
